Paramedics treated the 43-year-old woman for stab wounds to her hand and a fractured eye socket before being taken to Brisbane’s Princess Alexandra Hospital.

Police arrested four men at a property in Jarvis Street in Stafford Heights around two later, just after 3.30pm.

The men were taken into custody and police established a crime scene at the three addresses. No charges have been laid as police continue to investigate the incident.

Officers also seized a white Audi allegedly driven by the group of men for forensic examination.

Forest Lake resident Paul Spence witnessed the incident and alleged the woman appeared to be held ‘hostage’ by the men.

Mr Spence said he heard a loud sound before the men led the woman into the brick house.

‘I thought an awning had fallen over and next minute I see guys kicking down the door,’ he told the Courier Mail.

‘And a guy with a hostage, a girl in maybe her late 20s maybe, hand round her neck and forcing her into the house.’

He said he saw one of the men allegedly carrying a large gun.

Another resident said she heard gunshots going off.

‘I just heard the bang, bang, bang … three or four gunshots,’ they said.

A bloodied stain of a handprint was seen on a pillar outside the property the woman had been forced into by her alleged attackers.

After the group of men fled the scene residents rushed to help the woman until emergency services arrived.

The latest incident comes after 70-year-old grandmother Vyleen White was allegedly stabbed to death in front of her young granddaughter in the underground carpark of Town Square Redbank Plains Shopping Centre, in Brisbane’s southwest last Saturday.

Her blue 2009 Hyundai Getz was allegedly stolen and later found in Springfield Lakes by police.

Five teenagers, aged between 15 and 16, have now been arrested and charged in relation to her death and alleged carjacking.

A 16-year-old boy has been charged with murder.
