One of the intruders was armed with a crowbar, another with a large machete.

Cruelly they demanded a worker’s wedding ring, saying: “Give me that ring. Take it off.”

They were in and out of the Hillcrest service station in less than two minutes, stealing the worker’s $60,000 car, cash, cigarettes and thousands of dollars worth of personal items.

They used three cars suspected to have been stolen.

Their overnight rampage on Friday lasted hours.

The hooded thieves attacked a bakery worker in Calamvale and were seen stealing cash and another car.

Hours earlier in Middle Park they smashed through the glass doors of a shopping centre before getting into a tobacconist.

The group is linked to four robberies across Hillcrest, Park Ridge, Mount Warren Park and Calamvale.

They are still on the run.
