Five juveniles, including a 12-year-old, have been charged, after an alleged police pursuit through Sydney overnight.

Police were called to a home in Curl Curl following reports of a break-in at 4.40am today.

The owner of the car told 9News that he woke up to find a group of six girls and one boy in his house.

After it allegedly failed to stop, a police pursuit ensued before the car crashed into a concrete barrier on Spit Road in Mosman. (Nine)

”I couldn’t really believe it,” he said.

He says he tried to stop them from taking the car and ran after them onto the street.

Police say the Porsche SUV was spotted on the Burnt Bridge Deviation at Manly Vale a short time later, when officers tried to stop the car.

After it allegedly failed to stop, a police pursuit ensued before the car crashed into a concrete barrier on Spit Road in Mosman.

No one in the car was injured.

The driver of the car, a 16-year-old boy, was arrested at the scene.

Four females, aged between 12 and 16, were also arrested and have since been charged with being carried in a conveyance without consent of owner.

They were released on conditional bail and will appear in childrens court on Wednesday June

Two other girls, aged 14 and 13, were arrested and released and will be dealt with under the Young Offenders Act. 

The 16-year-old boy has been charged with several charges including police pursuit, drive conveyance without the consent of the owner, larceny and breach of bail.

He was refused bail and will appear in Children’s Court tomorrow.
