A tradie has detailed how he reeled in a mammoth bull shark from a Queensland lake while fishing from a tinnie.
Jake Posa was staggered to find a a 2.8-metre bull shark on the end of his line in Lake Orr on the Gold Coast.
Posa, from the adjoining suburb of Varsity Lakes, said it took six men two hours to land it.
“Getting towed around by a monster that big. It was just scary, like the same size as the boat obviously,” Posa said.
“Lucky they were there cause they gave us a hand to pull her up and get the hook out and do all that.”

Jake posted the video to social media as a warning to his neighbours who often swim in the lake.
He said he’s hooked sharks before, but never reeled one in.
