A fire has broken out at a recycling facility in Sydney’s west, as firefighters arrive in droves to contain the blaze. 

Crews are on the scene of a major fire at a metal recycling facility on Miller Road, Villawood on Monday, according to Fire and Rescue NSW. 

Firefighters are battling to prevent the flames from spreading to an adjoining warehouse.

Approximately 12 fire trucks and approximately 40 firefighters working tirelessly to bring the fire under control.
