A child who was found walking the streets alone in the NSW Blue Mountains has been reunited with his parents.

The boy, about three-years-old, was found walking along Grose Road, Faulconbridge, at about 8am on Saturday. 

Officers from the Blue Mountains police command went knocking door-to-door trying to find the boy’s family and he was reunited with his parents a short time later.

The child was wearing a dark green Grinch T-shirt with the words ‘feeling Grinchy’ written on the front.

He was dressed in light green shorts and black sneakers and is of Caucasian appearance with short light-brown hair.

He was found by a member of the public near the bus bay of Faulconbridge Public School. 

No further police action is anticipated.
