Fans Are Pretty Positive Kanye West's Yeezy Super Bowl 2024 Ad Won't Air During The Game

Kanye West’s post of his purported Super Bowl commercial coincides with other big news about the rapper. The February 10 release of “Vultures 1,” his joint album with Ty Dolla Sign, has come with its own hiccups. Ozzy Osbourne is furious with West for featuring a Black Sabbath sample on the album without authorization, per TMZ. On February 9, Osbourne tweeted, “@KANYEWEST ASKED PERMISSION TO SAMPLE A SECTION OF A 1983 LIVE PERFORMANCE OF ‘IRON MAN’ FROM THE US FESTIVAL WITHOUT VOCALS & WAS REFUSED PERMISSION BECAUSE HE IS AN ANTISEMITE AND HAS CAUSED UNTOLD HEARTACHE TO MANY.” He continued, “HE WENT AHEAD AND USED THE SAMPLE ANYWAY AT HIS ALBUM LISTENING PARTY LAST NIGHT. I WANT NO ASSOCIATION WITH THIS MAN!”

West is also in hot water for allegedly incorporating Donna Summer’s track “I Feel Love” in “Vultures 1” after being denied permission, per Billboard. With all of his album drama, perhaps West’s Super Bowl commercial post is merely a detour?

No matter what happens with West’s Yeezy ad, the star can cross “Super Bowl commercial” off of his bucket list. Back in 2022, West appeared in a McDonald’s game-day commercial. Pulling up in a drive-thru, he indecisively says, “Can I get uhhhhhhhh.” It was a big moment for West, who had previously called the popular fast food spot his favorite restaurant, per People.
