The trail of Tristan Thompson’s scandals leads back to his first known baby mama, Jordan Craig. The athlete reportedly began dating Craig in 2014, according to E! News, before welcoming his first son Prince with her in April 2016. Craig is most known for her work as an Instagram influencer, but also briefly married rapper Tyga (who later dated Kylie Jenner) before the two got divorced a month later.
Thompson’s relationship with his baby mama was heavily scrutinized. He came forward in 2019 to deny rumors that he had cheated on Craig when he began dating Khloé Kardashian. “Also, when I met Khloe I was SINGLE. The negative comments that are constantly being directed towards her are unnecessary,” Thompson tweeted. Despite clearing his name, his troubles were far from over. Radar obtained court documents in which Craig blamed her pregnancy complications on Thompson dating Kardashian. “Every day several articles were published worldwide mocking my new unfortunate reality and my pregnancy would now become one of the most popular gossip headlines due to the woman Tristan was now publicly dating during my pregnancy,” Craig claimed.

Kardashian denied any claims that Thompson cheated on Craig with her, writing in her Instagram Stories at the time (via E! News): “His best friends, business associates and even his mother told me, him and his ex were broken up before we met.” She added, “This is my truth! The truth I believed and trusted… I pray my truth is in-fact that.”
