ESPN broadcaster Holly Rowe was feeling some type of way while on the sidelines during Utah’s season-opening win over Florida Thursday night.
Social media is buzzing over Rowe’s reaction after taking a shot of portable oxygen while on-air at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City.
“This is portable oxygen,” Rowe said while holding up a canister of Boost Oxygen, a supplemental oxygen for athletes for performance and recovery.
“This is a personal bottle of oxygen, watch.”
That’s when Rowe put the canister to her mouth and shot back, appearing to be blown away by the jolt.
“That just gave me a shot of oxygen right to the system,” she said. “I just saw [Florida quarterback] Graham Mertz take one after that touchdown.”
The Gators’ struggles from last season (they finished 6-7) carried into the season-opener, which ended in a 24-11 loss to the Utah Utes.

The Utes were able to keep the Gators without a score during the second and third quarters.
Florida finally reached the end zone with 9:22 left in the game, cutting the Utah lead to 24-11 on a 19-yard receiving touchdown and a two-point conversion.
It wasn’t enough to take home a road win in the opener, with Utah sealing a 13-point victory.

Rowe, a Utah native, certainly had herself a night.

Utah will take on the Baylor Bears on the road on Sept. 9 in Waco, Texas, while Florida hosts McNeese.
