At about 2pm yesterday, three men, aged 18, 23, and 29, absconded from custody at the Darwin Police Station on Knuckey Street.

The two younger men were soon arrested in the vicinity of The Esplanade and are back in custody.

The third man, 29-year-old Lazarus Bara Bara, is believed to have fled out of the city.
