One of my greatest frustrations with my liberal friends is their utter unwillingness to acknowledge that the people they trust lie to them almost every moment of the day.
It’s not just the Pravda Media, although for the life of me, I cannot understand why anybody would trust The New York Times or the Washington Post, or for that matter, any news source, after all the lies and hoaxes they have been fed. Habit, I guess, and a fear of being unmoored from reality. I actually sympathize with that last one. We are surrounded by so much data that, in isolation, makes so little sense that having curators you can trust seems necessary.
But people still trust Adam Schiff, Elizabeth Warren, Jamie Raskin, and political commentators whose lies are so transparent that it boggles the mind that people like or trust them.
Senator Elizabeth Warren is still claiming Biden was “sharp” and showed no decline from 2021 to 2024.

Elizabeth Warren never tells the truth. You would think that after she built an entire career based on a lie that she was a Native American, people would just laugh when she spoke.
But no, some want her to be president.
Her flimsy excuse about her lies about Biden is so transparent it’s hard not to laugh, except that the knowledge that millions take her seriously makes you want to cry.

Warren and her colleagues will turn on a dime to gain any little political advantage they can. After years of attacking the Supreme Court, talking about packing the court, impeaching Clarence Thomas and Sam Alito, and even threatening to remove the security budget from the Supreme Court Justices after assassination attempts, Democrats have a newfound respect for the Court and “norms.”
The truth and values are wholly situational. Whatever the left thinks will give them an advantage, they will assert. To some extent, this is true of all politicians–think of how many Democrats were all for mass deportations not so long ago, or how many Republicans are now fans of tariffs.
But there is a line between spin and positioning and outright lying, and that line has been crossed by most Democrats and the media today. Lee Zeldin just had a press conference in which a New York Times reporter seriously challenged him on whether there was ANY waste, fraud, or abuse in government.
She wants it proven in court. Seriously.

That’s quite the standard, but apparently it will be applied to anything a Republican says, while the Times blithely printed stories based on the Steele Dossier as if they were fact, and denied the reality of the Hunter Biden laptop for years.
Now, everything has to go before Judge Boasberg or else it is false, at least if a Republican says it.
Democrats will be leery of engaging with the new media unless it is controlled, because they might get asked inconvenient questions. They know Pravda will back them up, but some guy with a huge audience based on built credibility might ask them something inconvenient.
It’s infuriating. Expect Warren and her ilk to be around for a long time, because her audience wants to be fooled.
