An 82-year-old man was stabbed in the head with a stick as he was walking down the street in Brooklyn on Sunday morning, cops said.
The elderly man was walking near East 16th Street and Church Avenue in Flatbush when a suspect approached him with a sharp stick and stabbed him several times in the head at about 7 a.m., according to police.
Cops responded to the corner after receiving calls about an assault in progress, an NYPD spokesperson said.
There they found the wounded, elderly man.

Emergency medical services brought the victim to Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn.
The unidentified victim was listed in stable condition on Sunday.


Cops arrested the suspect — Marvin Reyes, 33, of Brooklyn — and charged him with two counts of assault, criminal possession of a weapon and menacing.
Cops still aren’t sure what precipitated the attack.
