From winning the mirrorball trophy to now co-hosting “Dancing With the Stars,” the show announced that Julianne Hough will take over for Tyra Banks as the newest co-host via Instagram. The Season 32 shake-up is sure to bring new excitement to the ballroom, as Hough is eager to step into the role.
The “DWTS” alum shared with Variety, “It is such an honor to be rejoining ‘Dancing with the Stars’ as co-host. The show holds such a special place in my heart from the many years and different roles I have had the privilege of being a part of.” Avid viewers of “DWTS” are already familiar with Hough, as she was formerly a professional dancer and judge on the competition series. However, this time she’s making her return as a host and couldn’t be more ecstatic about her comeback. She said, “I am so excited to reunite with Alfonso, Carrie Ann, Bruno, Derek, the unbelievably talented pros, and the amazing cast on the dance floor.”
