A fan-favorite Dunkin’ drink has been taken off the menu.
In a statement to TODAY, the casual coffee chain announced that their delicious combination of hot chocolate and coffee, better known as the Dunkaccino, is no more.
“As we focus on innovation and finding new ways to delight guests, we continually evolve our menu in an effort to deliver a fast, frictionless experience,” a spokesperson for the company told the outlet.
“The Dunkaccino is retired for now.”
The Post reached out to Dunkin’ for comment.
In 2015, the chain also offered another version of the beverage, which consisted of their blended coffee and frozen hot chocolate.

Fans will be unable to start their day with the glorious libation that they’ve been served since 2000 — and many are mourning the loss of their favorite drink.
“The Dunkaccino is dead,” one Twitter user wrote in response to an article from NBC Chicago about the topic. “Where is your god now?”

Another lamented, “Just don’t say anything when I order half coffee, half hot chocolate with cream or oatmilk… Ugh, that’s just too many words!”
“Listen,” someone else complained. “I tweaked out in a Dunkin’ because they told me the dunkaccino is no longer. ITS COFFEE AND HOT COCO. I’m mad again.”

According to TODAY, there had been rumors on social media that the drink was going to retired, as a Reddit user named u/manualham posted a picture of an alleged internal memo in 2022 that went out to Dunkin’ employees, which shared a list of menu items that were going to be eliminated soon.
The poor Dunkaccino was one of those on that list.
The beverage was part of the 2011 comedy movie, “Jack and Jill,” which featured a fictional commercial for Dunkin’ that starred actor Al Pacino ordering it.
Fake Dunkin’ employees acted stunned as Pacino walked in and yelled out, “It’s not Al anymore, it’s Dunk!”
He then broke into a rap, saying, “What’s my name?” as the pretend customers replied, “Dunkaccino!”
However, perhaps not all hope is lost for Dunkaccino fans — Dunkin’ did note that “there’s always the chance for its return in the future.”
