A light plane has crashed at the entrance of a golf course with two people on board.

The light aircraft crashed on Bruckner Hill Road on Dugandan at the Boonah Golf Club, in Queensland, at 11.57am on Sunday.

Grave fears have been raised for the pilot and passenger who were on board the plane.

Emergency services were called and paramedics are on scene to assess two critical patients.
