Drugs and more than $1 million worth of stolen goods have been seized from a Brisbane restaurant after police discovered a large and “sophisticated” alleged drug-trafficking ring.

Police believe the alleged drug dealer, or dealers, has been accepting stolen goods as payment for drugs, with the stolen items then on-sold to the community through local markets.

The stolen items included power tools, high-end designer clothing and accessories, electrical goods, alcohol, firearms and a large amount of cash.

Officers are working to try to identify the owners of the goods.

Police have said they believe they have infiltrated “a sophisticated syndicate where drugs were being sold to a large network of customers”.
