The crash occurred at the intersection of Highlands Terrace and Summit Drive in Springfield Lakes just before 6pm yesterday.
Police believe the driver lost control of his Mercedes hatch before crashing into a tree.
He was declared dead at the scene.
Anyone who may have seen the vehicle, witnessed the incident, or may have relevant dashcam is urged to come forward.
