A 20-year-old has been charged following a fatal crash in Sydney’s north yesterday.
A motorcyclist was killed after being allegedly hit by a car on Epping Road at Macquarie Park, at 12.20 pm.
The motorcyclist, believed to be in his 30s, sustained life-threatening injuries at the scene and later died at the Royal North Shore Hospital.
The 20-year-old driver was treated by NSW Ambulance and was taken to Royal North Shore hospital in a stable condition.
He was arrested after being released from hospital and charged with dangerous driving, occasioning death and negligent driving occasioning death.
He has been granted bail and will appear at Burwood Local Court on Tuesday, March 12.
