Patrick Schwarzenegger sure doubled down on his efforts to make Abby Champion’s engagement ring as special as possible. As showcased in their joint Instagram post, the ring features not just one but two diamonds, slightly varying in shape and size, curved around each other. According to Mike Fried, CEO of The Diamond Pro, the two-stone ring likely symbolizes “two souls becoming one, signifying the deep connection this couple has.” Fried remarked, “Most individuals choose one center diamond or a three-stone design,” setting the two-stone ring apart from the crowd. He added, “This ring shows that she’s not afraid to be herself and stray from what’s most popular.”
Champion’s ring also boasts a bezel setting, in which the stones are set inside encircling metal instead of prongs. Bezel settings, according to Fried, aesthetically lend “a modern look and offer the diamonds extra protection.” Given that he estimates Champion’s diamonds to be 3 carats and 2.5 carats each, with an estimated total value of $175,000, extra cushioning can only be a good thing!

In addition to their uniquely adorned ring, Schwarzenegger and Champion rang in the proposal with a scrumptious-looking cake decorated with a photo of the happy couple. Featured in their announcement post, the celebratory cake boasted heaps of rose-shaped cream frosting, with a handwritten banner reading, “Congratulations.”
