Rescue crews are scouring waters in the NSW South Coast in the search for a missing 20-year-old man this morning.

Hang Xue was last seen on Lennards Island in the Beowa National Park, Eden, about 12.30pm yesterday.

Police and family hold grave concerns for Hang as he does not speak fluent English and cannot swim.

Marine Rescue NSW Inspector Glenn Sullivan said volunteers from Eden and Merimbula resumed a parallel line search at 9am.

“Conditions are favourable in the area,” Sullivan said.

Hang is described as of Asian appearance, about 180cm tall, of thin build, with blonde tipped black hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, a white puffer jacket with two black stripes down the front, black jeans and black slides.

It’s believed he may still be in the Beowa National Park area.

Anyone with information into his whereabouts is urged to contact police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
