Dashcam footage has captured the moment the van collided with another vehicle at the intersection of Robinson Road near the Western Freeway on-ramp in Derrimut just before 1pm on Monday.
The footage shows the van rolling onto its side and skidding across the road from the force of the crash.
Viewers can also see the windscreen of the vehicle the camera is in shattering on impact.
Police and Ambulance Victoria have confirmed no one was injured in the crash.
Police are investigating the incident. The driver whose dashcam filmed the smash said the other driver ran a red light.
The footage shows the traffic lights were green for the driver who filmed the crash.
