Allegations of sexual assaults in Sydney’s west and Northern Beaches stretching from 2002 to 2007 first sparked a police investigation in November 2022.

On Wednesday morning, police arrested the man at Gulgong in central west NSW.

He was charged with three counts of aggravated indecent assault, sexual assault forced self-manipulation and having sexual intercourse –all against a minor – as well as persistent sexual abuse of a child.

The man was granted bail to front Parramatta Local Court on July 4.
