Cringeworthy moment Karl Stefanovic  shamelessly flirts with a mum of two live on Today

Karl Stefanovic is a happily married father of four. 

But on Thursday, the 48-year-old Today show host appeared particularly impressed by one attractive mother during the Tim’s Trivia segment.

After the quiz, Karl couldn’t help but shamelessly flirt with the mother, Bridie, even as she sat beside her two young daughters. 

‘How beautiful is mum by the way, you girls are very lucky, that is what you’ll look like when you’re 30!’ Karl gushed. 

The mother simply brushed off the moment with a laugh.

Bridie appeared on the show with her two daughters, Ruby and Ava and their pet dog Luna and did so well they were in the running to win a gift card. 

Last year on the Today show, Jacqui Lambie cheekily suggested she has some ‘risque’ merchandise on offer in a flirty exchange with Karl.

The MP was proudly showing off her party’s merch while out in freezing temperatures in Tasmania at the time. 

While speaking to the Today Show host, Ms Lambie said supporters of the Jacquie Lambie Network could purchase T-shirts, hoodies, hats and stickers with her name on them.

The mother, Bridie, simply brushed off the moment with a laugh 

Stefanovic then joked: ‘I find it hard to believe you don’t have anything risque in your merch catalogue.’

‘I do Karl. I’ll have to show you that off camera… You won’t be able to hold yourself mate. You have to calm down a little bit,’ Ms Lambie replied.

‘Don’t get too excited.’

As Stefanovic attempted to use his sheets of paper to cool himself down, Ms Lambie added ‘not that you can get too risque when it’s minus ten out here’.

Despite the cheeky on-air exchanges, Karl is happily married to stunning former model and shoe designer Jasmine Yarbrough.  

Karl met Jasmine in late 2016, five months after he split from his first wife Cassandra Thorburn, to whom he was married for 21 years.

He previously said of their relationship: ‘I certainly did not expect to meet someone five months after I broke up with my wife. That was not planned.’

The pair share Harper, three, together. Karl is also father to three children from his first marriage: sons Jackson and River and daughter Willow.
