A devastated mum has paid tribute to her two young kids after they were killed alongside their dad in a horror car crash, saying ‘no words will ever make this ok’ in a heartbreaking post.

Lance Danks-Brown, 43, and his children, Kayden, 14, and Sharna, 11, were driving in Coutts Crossing, south of Grafton, in northern NSW, at about 9.30pm on Saturday when their ute suddenly veered off the road.

All three died on impact when the car collided with the tree.

Kayden and Sharna’s mother Tania Brown shared a photo of the pair in their school uniforms in a heartbreaking post on Sunday.

The photo was flooded with comments from loved ones sending their condolences, including Mr Danks-Brown’s current partner Amie Pithers, who he has been in a relationship with since January, 2021.

‘No words will ever make this ok. But I love you x,’ she wrote.

‘I am totally lost for words because there are none that can take away the pain,’ another said.

‘I would give anything to take away your pain,’ a third loved one said.

Mr Danks-Brown’s Facebook showed a photo of Kayden performing a jump while on a dirt bike, with another capturing the father smiling in a selfie beside Ms Pithers.

Emergency services raced to the scene at the time of the crash but no one inside the car was able to be saved.

A crime scene was set up and an investigation has began into the circumstances of the crash.

A report will be prepared for the Coroner and anyone with dashcam footage or further information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
