Two children have been killed and another two are fighting for their life in hospital following a garden shed fire at a property.
The blaze broke out inside a garden shed out the back of a home on Officer Court in Corio, a suburb of Geelong, south-west of Melbourne, at 10:30am on Sunday.
Emergency services were called to the scene including police, ambulance and fire and rescue crews.
Victoria Police confirmed two children died in the fire while another two were airlifted to the Royal Children’s Hospital in a critical condition.
It’s believed the four children, who are yet to be identified, were inside the shed at the time the fire started.

‘It will take us some time to examine the scene,’ Police Inspector Emma Bartel said, as reported by the Herald Sun.
Fire Rescue Victoria and Country Fire Authority are at the scene.
An investigation has been launched into the cause of the fire. The blaze is not being treated as suspicious.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
Police and fire crews cordoned off Officer Court and Norberry Rd, with vehicles being turned away.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
