Constance Wu didn’t win last night’s episode of Celebrity Jeopardy, but she did finish the game with an unforgettable answer. The Fresh Off the Boat actress faced off against Ike Barinholtz and Jalen Rose on Sunday’s (Oct. 9) Celebrity Jeopardy, where she gave a somewhat raunchy guess during Final Jeopardy.
Wu, who was competing for The Lotus Therapy fund on the game show, bungled her answer in the Newspaper Headlines category after responding to a historical clue from host Mayim Bialik, who prompted the contestants, “A New York Times headline about this disaster included ‘866 rescued,’ and ‘noted names missing.’”
In response, Wu guessed “What is the tit,” earning herself a swift censoring from broadcaster ABC, who bleeped out her answer as Bialik struggled to keep from laughing, telling the Hustlers star, “‘What is the tit’ is not correct.”
Wu protested, “I meant Titanic!” before admitting she had wagered all of her money on her NSFW guess.
Her answer didn’t go unnoticed on Twitter, where Celebrity Jeopardy fans were quick to praise Wu for her “gutsy” guess.
“Constance wu on jeopardy is my favorite thing ever,” one wrote, while another joked, “I think I’ll start calling the Titanic the ‘Tit’ in solidarity.”

While her Titanic guess was the highlight of the episode, Wu had other memorable moments during her turn on the game show, including a bit where she had to censor herself. After guessing a prompt incorrectly, she yelled out, “damn it!”
Wu quickly corrected herself, scrambling for more G-rated language as she said, “Darn it, gosh darn it!”
Despite her iconic performance, Wu was defeated by Barinholtz on last night’s show. The comedian will go on to compete in the Celebrity Jeopardy semifinals, where he will compete against Simu Liu and Iliza Shlesinger.
Celebrity Jeopardy airs Sundays at 8/7c on ABC.
