Constance Wu is making her second pregnancy social media-friendly this time. On a February 21 Instagram Story, Wu shared a belly-baring photo, with fingers pointing to her sizable baby bump as she smiled. “Bun in the oven. Filipinese baby #2 coming soon,” Wu announced alongside the photo. With congratulations in order, the “Fresh Off the Boat” alum may also be trying to reclaim control of her pregnancy narrative. A few days ago, Page Six published paparazzi shots of Wu taking a stroll in Los Angeles, wearing a New York Giants cap, striped shirt, and an ostensible baby bump.

During Wu and beau Ryan Kattner’s first pregnancy, the COVID-19 pandemic had just caused a nationwide shutdown in the U.S. Giving birth in the summer of 2020, Wu enjoyed a paparazzi-free maternity break, having stayed off social media for a period since late 2019 (i.e. no pressure to post birth announcements).
