It’s becoming a trend among Democrats.
As immigrants from third-world countries have started getting elected in the woke areas, they freely admit that their political priorities are not about improving America, but instead are focused on their fellow countrymen in this and their home countries.
Ilhan Omar regularly speaks in Somali to transplanted Somali migrants. Omar Fateh, the Democratic-Farmer-Labor (Minnesota Democrats) candidate for Minneapolis Mayor, declared his allegiance to Somalia and Somalis, and now Representative Delia Ramirez of Illinois declares that she is a Guatemalan before she is American.
She was born here, by the way, but obviously is not a fan of the country that placed her in Congress.

This trend shouldn’t surprise anyone. What did you think decolonization looked like, anyway? By now, we should know that for its advocates, it looks like October 7th and the invasion at the border.

In the view of the “decolonizers,” America and the West are lands to be plundered, not homelands to become a part of. As Mamdani would say, it is time to “seize the means of production” and “eliminate private property”–or at least take the private property of Westerners and redistribute it to those more deserving.

I’m pretty certain that Ramirez couldn’t be denaturalized and deported–that is hyperbole–because she was born in Chicago. Moreover, I wouldn’t support deporting a natural-born American citizen for making such an insane remark.
But kicking her off the Homeland Security Committee? Of course, that should happen. She has declared that her loyalty is to another country. How on Earth can Congress have a representative charged with defending the “homeland” (I hate that term!) whose allegiance is not to the United States?
Only in America, I suppose. What a country!
We keep being told that “diversity is our strength,” and “diverse” people screaming in our faces that they want us on our knees begging for forgiveness. They don’t want us strong–they want us gone. That is not hyperbole–it is what they keep saying as AWFLs and all liberals tell us they don’t really mean it.
Yes, yes they do. Only after they have extracted all the value they can out of us, but they want us gone.

Ah, October 7th. Good times for the left, you know. Paragliders, sexual assaults, murders, hostages. Those were the days…and perhaps they will come again. They can hope.
Ramirez, not that she knows this, is almost certainly descended from literal colonizers. Ramirez is not a Aztek or Incan name, but a Spanish one, but that is no barrier. Decolonization ideology is racist, but “decolonizers” are still a diverse lot. Anybody can join in, as long as they hate enough. There are plenty of hateful white people who have joined the cult. It is a “diverse” movement, although you have to know your place in the intersectional rankings.
All the ideological fervor on the Democratic side of the aisle is with the radical anti-Americans. They don’t make up the majority of the Democratic Party coalition or the titular leaders, but like the late Praetorian Guard they are the powers behind the thrones. Mamdani will never be president, for instance, but he is joining AOC and the “Squad” as the beating heart underneath the lizard skin of the Democrats.
Until Trump, conservatives were too scared to push back too hard on this movement in fear of being called “racist.” But these days, everything is racist, so what is the point of the fear? If Sydney Sweeney can be called a Nazi on a cable news channel, it’s time to give up on worrying about name calling.
Unfortunately, genuine racism is bubbling up on the right as a response to the racism of the left. If your opponents have declared a race war–even if the violence is still low-level–some will pick up the banner to defend their own race.
But the true battle isn’t between the races, but between the Classical Liberals and the racists on the left. Black and brown people are not the enemies of the “whites,” but rather it’s “decolonizers” vs advocates of Western Culture.
The American ideal is pretty simple: it is not your race, religion or creed that makes you an American, but your allegiance to our values. The radical left hates us, our values, and anybody who stands with us. Clarence Thomas is a white supremacist–an “Oreo” to them–because he has not accepted his savior Karl Marx.
In a just world we could buy every “decolonizer” a ticket to Venezuela or Cuba so they could live their best life, but forcing them to go would be illegal and asking them to leave would not work. Their goal is to strip our land of its wealth and power and take it over, not to live peacefully where they claim to feel most comfortable.
If Ramirez really though of herself as Guatemalan she could move there. But really, she just wants your stuff.
