Commonwealth Bank DOWN: Furious customers locked out of their accounts as company urgently investigates nationwide issue

Thousands of Commonwealth Bank customers have been locked out of their accounts.

The outrage affects customers trying to access the the bank’s app with thousands of reports lodged to Down Detector.

Customers have taken to social media to express their fury of not being to able to access their money. 

The bank says it’s working to resolve the issue.

‘We are aware there are intermittent issues with accessing NetBank and the CommBank app,’ the CBA said

‘Other services including ATMs, online and in person payments, including tap and pay, are working.

‘Our teams are urgently working to fix this issue.

‘We are very sorry for the inconvenience. Thanks for your patience.’
