Chrissy Teigen has enjoyed the best laugh at Rep. George Santos‘ legal expense!
The politician has been hit with several federal charges barely two weeks after he dissed the television personality for her outfit to the White House Correspondents’ Dinner. Even though the investigation details are still unfolding, it did not stop Teigen from sharing a hilarious — and befitting — reaction with her 41.7 million followers on social media.
Chrissy Teigen Shared Her Delight At Rep. George Santos’ Legal Battle
When news broke that Santos was facing legal trouble for falsifying some details in his campaign finance filings, Teigen was there to mock him. For the big moment, the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model chose comedian Amanda Seales’ reaction video and posted it on her Instagram Story.
In the clip, the “Insecure” star walked from one end of the screen to the next before popping out from beneath to laugh at a headline that claimed that Santos had surrendered to authorities.
At some point, The “I Be Knowin” star (belted) the words, “Gotchu b****ttchhh,” in a sing-song voice, laughed some more, and wrapped up the clip with the question, “You thought they were gon let you pretend to be Jewish AND White?” a loud, “Ha!”
While we’re unsure of the entertaining responses the TikTok clip earned Teigen in her DMs, we can assure you that she will not be backing down from trolling Santos. The duo has been at loggerheads since the Republic Party member took to Twitter to state:
“The racks at Kohl’s & Macy’s have to be empty after the amount of off-the-rack dresses I’ve seen so far from last night,” Santos tweeted on Sunday, April 30. “But before we dive into the rack gowns … What in the world was Chrissy Teigen wearing?”
He then issued a second update, making a thread highlighting the “misses of the #WHCD23.” The list featured stars like Jerry O’Connell and his wife, Rebecca Romijn, Ariana Madix, and Julia Fox.
It also included Teigen and her beau, John Legend, proving that the congressman had a personal grudge against the “FABLife” alum.

However, she ignored that last jab and focused on his original tweet, which was screenshotted and posted by a critic alongside the text, “Now he wants to be Joan Rivers,” referring to the comedian known for her outstanding work on “Fashion Police.”
In response, the mother-of-three uploaded a clip that showed her and Legend posing for photos on the red carpet of WHCD23. The footage shows that the dress was floor-length and had oversized sleeves that hid most of her arm from view.
It also had a deep v-cut neckline and a long slit that gave viewers a peak at one of the “Lip Sync Battle” alum’s long, toned legs. She wrote above the clip, “I’m all for some good sh*t talking, but this is a legitimately great dress.”
The New York Eastern District Representative Pled Not Guilty To Federal Charges

The Blast reported that Santos was being investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Justice Department’s public integrity prosecutors and was expected to appear in court as early as Wednesday, May 10. The embattled Brazilian native was charged with fraud, theft of public funds, money laundering, and making false statements.
Although he has since pleaded ‘not guilty’ to the charges, it would be the first time he would be accused of committing fraud and falsifying statements. He was even accused of stealing money meant for the surgery of an Iraq War veteran’s service dog.
The veteran, Richard Osthoff, alleged that the scam occurred after he discovered that his dog, Sapphire, had a stomach tumor that needed immediate attention. He was soon introduced to Santos — who was going by the alias Anthony Devolder and running a pet charity at the time.
The 34-year-old quickly set up a GoFundMe for Sapphire’s surgery but closed it when it received $3,000 in donations. The United States rep subsequently disappeared with the money, and Osthoff learned that he had used it for “other dogs.”
Upon the dog’s death in 2017, the veteran made it his mission to make Santos pay for the alleged scam, which he claimed to be wire and charity fraud. Osthoff has also called the lawmaker a swindler who used an alias to carry out and escape with the crime.
Additionally, he revealed he was working with government agencies to hit Santos with criminal charges.
