Over the weekend, the Sports Illustrated model marked a huge milestone with her family. Teigen took her first flight trip with her three kids and shared the big news with her fans. However, the entertainer’s latest post about a family trip did not sit well with her followers.
Taking to Twitter, the 37-year-old shared sweet pictures of herself posing with her husband and their three kids — Luna, Miles, and Esti. The image captured the group on the tarmac, smiling brightly for the camera with a large plane in the background. Taking trips was nothing new to the A-list couple, but Teigen revealed this trip was more remarkable than the others.
“First trip with 3, heart racing with airplane apology syndrome,” the magazine cover girl captioned the cute post. The proud mother shared more details about the family’s journey on Instagram, dropping the same picture alongside the words: “Oh boy, here we go!! 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧 prayers up.”
From the “Cookies & Cocktails” star’s posts, the model was excited and nervous about her first trip to the UK as a mother of three. However, fans were not considerate of the Utah native’s feelings.
Flooding the comment section with criticisms, trolls took no prisoners as they slammed the TV personality for asking for prayers while allegedly using a private plane. “Real tough on a private jet. Try it on a commercial flight,” a fan penned.
A second social media user chimed, “On a private jet? No other people to bug, easy.” Another critic sarcastically wrote: “I’m sure y’all can handle it on the private jet with millions of dollars. Try it on food stamps and spirit airlines. That’s when you need prayers. Lmao.”
Many seemed bitter about Teigen’s privileges as a fourth noted the entertainer did not need to flaunt her riches. “Read the room, Chrissy,” the individual advised. Unfortunately for these Instagram users, the Queen of clap-backs didn’t hesitate to slam their false assumptions.

“U can literally have a jumbo jet in the background of your photo, and people will get mad about your private jet. It’s beautiful, I love it here,” the cookbook author wrote, discrediting the assumptions that her family used a private plane for their trip.
Teigen also saved some saltiness for Twitter fans, who shared a similar opinion that she was flying private. When someone pointed out that the plane looked like a private aircraft, the “Model Employee” host sarcastically confirmed she owned the property. “Yes, my private 777,” the media personality replied.
To a fan’s jab about the entertainer’s private jet, the mother-of-three playfully retorted: “bigger jets, bigger problems. Thanx for understanding.” Despite the criticism, the 37-year-old didn’t shy away from giving her worthy fans an update about how the moment-defining trip went.
The “Cravings: Hungry for More” writer revealed in a subsequent tweet that it was a success and she was the only person who cried on the flight. “Update! I was the only one to cry! Scary turbulence makes my heart stop,” Teigen penned before reassuring fans that her family did not use a private jet.
The entertainer added, “Also, I thought it was pretty obvious from the enormous British Airways plane in the background, but we didn’t fly private. Everything is gonna be ok! u are all gonna be ok.”
