Police in New South Wales are stepping up a public appeal to help find a man who skipped bail and may be aiming to flee the country.

Authorities have issued an arrest warrant for Mark Horne, 32, for breach of bail.

He was last known to have been on Coorabin Place, Riverwood, about 6.15am on Friday October 21, where it’s believed he entered an unknown vehicle which was last seen heading westbound on the M5 Motorway.

Detectives and interstate and Commonwealth law enforcement partners, are conducting extensive searches and inquiries at airports and ports, as well as other transport routes across NSW and Australia.

Police believe Horne may be attempting to travel to Queensland to flee to South East Asia – and most likely by sea.

He is described as being about 185cm tall, of medium build with brown hair and brown eyes.

He has distinctive tattoos covering both arms and his right leg, as well as faded tattoos on his neck and chin.

Anyone who sights Horne, or who has information about his whereabouts, is urged not to approach him, and to call immediately.
