A woman who deliberately drove her car into her ‘boyfriend’ and crushed him against a wall after finding another woman in his apartment has broken down in tears as a jury found her guilty of murder.
Jackline Sabana Musa appeared in the NSW Supreme Court on Monday afternoon to learn her fate after a trial by jury.
She was accused of driving her black Toyota Kluger into Payman Thagipur, 31, in the car park of his apartment building at Wentworth Point, in Sydney’s west, about 8.30pm on June 27, 2020.
He died at the scene.

During the trial, the jury was told the pair met online at the end of 2019 and by June 2020, Ms Musa was under the impression that Mr Thagipur was her boyfriend.
The last time the pair saw each other was June 21, after which Ms Musa sent multiple text messages to Mr Thagipur which went unanswered.
On the afternoon of June 27, she sent another text which went unanswered.
The jury was told Ms Musa decided to check on Mr Thagipur at his apartment and stopped on the way at a shisha bar he frequented.
Ms Musa attempted to get into the apartment building’s car park without alerting Mr Thagipur that she was there.
The court heard she followed another car into the building and hit the roller door on the way, causing it to break.

Ms Musa was let through the security door by another resident and knocked on Mr Thagipur’s door to find him wearing only his underwear and with another woman in the apartment.
Ms Musa asked the woman ‘is it your turn today?’ and spat in Mr Thagipur’s face as she left the apartment, the jury was told.
Minutes later, Mr Thagipur walked into the carpark wearing a T-shirt and pants and began walking in the direction of his car.
When she saw him, the court heard Ms Musa deliberately drove directly at her former lover and pushed him into a nearby wall, crushing him to death.
‘I just hit him and he’s dead,’ Musa said in a triple-zero phone call she made after the incident, which was played to the jury.
CCTV footage played to the jury shows Musa ploughing through a garage door to get into the parking garage.
The video appears to show Musa calmly playing with her phone as she waits for police after calling triple-zero.
She showed up at his home after he ignored her attempts to contact him by phone, telling responding police she was “hurt inside as a woman” when her “boyfriend” stopped responding.
On Monday afternoon, the jury returned a unanimous verdict of guilty.
When the foreman read the decision to the court, Ms Musa began sobbing uncontrollably.
A date for a sentencing hearing is yet to be set.
