Young child is hit by a car in horror accident as paramedics and a helicopter rush to the scene

  • A young child has been involved in a traffic accident in NSW’s Hunter region
  • Paramedics are rushing to the scene in Rathmines, Lake Macquarie
  • NSW Ambulance confirmed one child was being attended to after the incident 

Paramedics are desperately helping a young child after they were involved in a horror traffic incident. 

Multiple crews and a helicopter rushed to the scene just after 2.30pm on Monday afternoon to reports a child had been hit on Rosemary Row, Rathmines a suburb of Lake Macquarie in NSW‘s Hunter region.

NSW Ambulance confirmed a number of road crews were responding to the incident with a helicopter also on the way.
