‘She wiped it off, police called. Cream pie raving something about Fyles stopping her husband having a heart operation,’ the Facebook user wrote.

It is understood the police are investigating the incident, which reportedly was unprovoked and left Ms Fyles upset.

This isn’t the first time the chief minister has been attacked this year.

Ms Fyles was followed and allegedly harassed by anti-fracking protesters while competing in a running competition in Central Australia in May.

NT Police have been contacted for comment. No one has been charged over the incident.
