CHICAGO (WLS) — Storms moving through the Chicago area have prompted several weather alerts Monday morning.
A Tornado Warning was issued in Jasper and Porter counties until 11:15 a.m.
A Tornado Watch has been issued for Benton, Jasper and Newton counties in Indiana until 3 p.m.
A Tornado Warning issued in the west suburbs has expired.
The warning was for DuPage County.
In the Champaign area, an apparent tornado was caught on video after a warning was issued there.
There was some flooding on Chicago’s North Side early Monday morning, as thunderstorms moved through the area.
Cars could be seen slowly making their way through high standing water, as heavy rain came down quickly during the Monday morning rush hour.

By about 6:30 a.m., the water had receded in some spots, but more rain is expected as the morning goes on.
There has been a lot of lightning, too, ABC7 Chicago meteorologist Tracy Butler said, which is somewhat unusual for February.

A line of storms in eastern LaSalle County was producing some brief gusty winds just before 9 a.m., Butler said.
A Wind Advisory for Will, Grundy, Kankakee, northern Will, southern Cook and southern Will counites was issued until noon. Benton, Jasper, Lake, Newton and Porter counties in Indiana also are under a Wind Advisory until noon.
The worst of the weather Monday is expected through the morning, with heavy rain, lightning and strong winds.
There could be strong or severe storms during the afternoon along and south of Interstate 80, Butler said.
