It’s alleged a stolen Mazda CX3 was travelling south on Frank Street when it collided with a Mazda 3 on the intersection of Marine Parade at Labrador before 12.25am.
CCTV obtained by 9News shows the cars colliding in a high-impact crash.
Queensland Ambulance spokesperson Josh Nolan said two 14-year-old girls were in hospital as well as two boys, 17 and 15.
“It’s believed one vehicle at high speed has T-boned with a secondary vehicle at an intersection,” Nolan said.
The 17-year-old boy and 14-year-old girl from the allegedly stolen car were taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in stable conditions.
The 15-year-old is in the intensive care unit and the other 14-year-old girl is in a serious condition.
The 17-year-old boy is now in police custody but no charges have been laid.
Police will allege the Mazda CX3 was stolen from Wharf Road in Surfers Paradise just after midnight.
