CCTV footage has captured the moment a man allegedly robbed a Queensland store while armed with a meat cleaver last week.

The man can be seen entering a store on Dohles Rocks Road in Murrumba Downs armed with a meat cleaver.

He demands money and threatens a male staff member with the cleaver.

The cashier hands the money over before the man walks away.

The alleged robbery took place at 7.30pm on June 7.

Police released the CCTV as part of an investigation into the alleged armed robbery.

The man was last seen leaving the store on foot towards Kallangur.

No one was harmed during the incident.

Police are appealing for anyone who may recognise the man to come forward.

They are also asking for anyone who has dashcam footage of Dohles Rocks Road at the time of the incident to contact Crime Stoppers.
