A woman who went missing after leaving a party in an Uber last week has been found dead in a hotel.
Josie George, a self-employed creative director and casting agent based in London, was reported missing on Sunday after being seen leaving the West London party.
Ms George was found dead in a hotel in Tower Bridge. The Metropolitan Police said they are treating her death as ‘unexpected’ but not suspicious.
A spokesperson for Met Police said: ‘Shortly before 11:30 on Tuesday 20 December police attended a hotel in Tower Bridge Road, SE1, after a woman’s body was found.

Ms George, a self-employed creative director and casting agent based in London, was seen leaving the West London party in an Uber
‘The death is being treated as unexpected but non-suspicious and is being investigated.
‘Her next of kin have been informed. A report will be prepared for the coroner.’

Those close to Josie paid tribute to her on social media, with friend Sly Augustin writing on Instagram: ‘On Monday 19th December our dear friend Josie George sadly passed away.
‘Naturally her friends and family are devastated and trying to deal with the loss. We respectfully ask that her family and friends are given the space to process her passing at this extremely heart breaking time. Thank you.’
Another friend, Beej, said before her death that she had gone missing after an Uber ride home in London.
Enthusiastic about life and her career, Ms George’s Twitter bio read: ‘Talent Agent, Dancer/Choreographer, General lover of all things fun and funky.’
