Police are hunting for the driver of a car that rolled down an embankment and ended up wedged under a train line.

It’s thought one car slipped down the embankment, rolled, and came to rest against a freight train carriage.

The white Mitsubishi became stuck and it had to be winched back up to street level by NSW Fire and Rescue workers.

It is not yet clear whether there were any injuries, but the driver was not in the car when it was winched back to the the road.
