At least ten pedestrians were injured when a vehicle barreled through a busy intersection near Grand Central Terminal on Tuesday night, authorities and sources said.
The chaos unfolded just after 5:30 p.m. at East 42nd Street and Lexington Avenue, according to the FDNY.
A dark colored SUV plowed through the congested crossing, leaving at least 10 people injured.
None of the injuries were considered life-threatening, according to the FDNY.
Some of those hurt suffered broken limbs and were left stranded in the roadway until first responders arrived, sources told The Post.

Video taken at the scene shows a busted red SUV that had collided head-on with a black sedan.
Sources said at least one person was taken into custody.
A second, female perp is still on the loose.
Police are asking the public to avoid the area as the investigation continues.
