A man has been taken to hospital after crashing his car in the front yard of a home in Sydney’s southwest.

Police were called to Nuwarra Road in Moorebank, near the Brickmakers Drive, after reports of a collision at 10.15pm on Friday.

The black Toyota sedan had crashed into a power pole and the front of a home, police allege.

The 29-year-old driver was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Liverpool Hospital in a stable condition for mandatory testing.

Ausgrid repaired the damaged pole.
