Police have swarmed to an Adelaide suburb after reports of a ‘high-risk incident’.
Members of the public have been urged to avoid Hill Street, Victor Road, Elm Road and surrounding streets at Campbelltown in Adelaide’s eastern suburbs.
Streets were closed off just before 2pm and a police bearcat armoured vehicle arrived just after 3pm.

A heavy police presence collected in the area since the streets were shut off, with more than six cars seen parked along surrounding streets.
Paramedics and firefighters are also at the scene and are currently on stand-by alongside Special Task and Rescue (STAR) officers and Polair in the sky.
It is believed that police are attempting to surround a single house where a person is inside with a firearm, according to the Advertiser.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area and residents have been told to stay indoors.
