Calling out Kamala’s ‘tough on the border’ fake history

Most media may play along with Kamala Harris’ blatant border lies, but not everyone is so willing to cover for her.

On Tuesday, Tulare County, Calif., Sheriff Mike Boudreaux blasted Harris for using his likeness, without his permission, in an ad claiming she “spent decades fighting violent crime as a border-state prosecutor.”

The 2013 photo shows Boudreaux standing behind Harris at a press conference on a visit to Central Valley as California’s attorney general: Per the sheriff, she swooped in just long enough for a photo op and to take credit for local law-enforcement officers’ work cracking down on cartel gang violence.

“The truth is, Harris never cared about the cartels and did nothing to stop people from illegally crossing the border,” Boudreaux fumes.

Doesn’t get much more damning than that.

Harris’ scene-stealing was insulting enough back then, but it’s even worse to slap the photo into a campaign ad a decade later as she tries to fake a “tough on the border” record.

The ad is part of a long-running Biden-Harris smoke-and-mirrors campaign.

For years, the message was: The border crisis isn’t actually happening.

Then, it became: If it is happening, she had nothing to do with it.

Now, it’s: If she did have something to do with it, she actually helped.

‘Round and ’round we go on Kamala’s spin-o-rama

It’s all baloney of the worst order, as Boudreaux points out: “Kamala’s sad attempt to paint herself as tough on the border by implying my support — and the support of neighboring law-enforcement leaders — is pathetic.”

The truth: Harris supported all of the Biden administration’s open-border policies and stood by as “border czar” as millions of illegal immigrants, including gang members and terrorists, jumped the border and streamed into American cities.

But since the border is a top concern for voters, she’s revising history — just as she’s trying to muddy the waters on her progressive positions on fracking, Medicare for All, defunding the police and a host of other unpopular lefty positions that just won’t sell.

You almost can’t blame her for trying; the media have been helpful henchmen in building her Potemkin-village campaign, dutifully parroting every new line (and lie) with absolutely credulity — and even “correcting” their own past reporting to match.

She’s not used to being fact-checked.

Sorry, Kam: It looks like the spin stops here.
