Police are seeking help to solve a decade-old mystery and identify a man known only as “Andy” who died in inner Sydney.

At about 7.35am on Thursday, August 28, 2014, police were called to Refinery Drive in Pyrmont, where Andy’s body was found outside a building.

The death was not treated as suspicious.

However, police have not been able to formally identify the man, or locate any family or friends, in the 10 years since his death.

They have re-released images of the man, and his two distinctive tattoos, as efforts to identify him continue.

One of the tattoos, which was located on the man’s left shoulder, is depicted in the images as a demon, with the words “Death to the world” and “Search and destroy” across it.
