Bruce Lehrmann is planning to write a tell-all book about his experiences and study law, it can be revealed.
Sky News reported on Wednesday evening that the former political staffer has met with biographer and journalist Andrew Urban about a book.
‘It’s early stages. I can’t comment further but it’s a subject any journalist or author would be interested in,’ Urban told the network.
‘I’ve had a meeting with Bruce about the idea of a book but we haven’t started writing it or looking at content yet.’

Discussions are preliminary and Mr Urban told Sky he is yet to meet with a publisher yet.
Mr Urban is a prolific author who has written books about subjects as varied Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and former Crown Prosecutor Margaret Cunneen.
Ex-staffer Brittany Higgins accused Lehrmann of sexually assaulting her in Parliament House in March 2019.
He has always maintained his innocence and pleaded not guilty at trial last year. Lehrmann’s trial collapsed last year after juror misconduct.
Prosecutors later dropped the sexual assault charge against him over concerns about Ms Higgins’ mental health.
Ironically, Ms Higgins has similar plans to Lehrmann. She is studying law on the Gold Coast and has a $325,000 book deal.
Daily Mail Australia earlier reported that the book deal may have to be paused until Lehrmann’s defamation lawsuits against Channel 10 and news.com.au are resolved.
