Brisbane Heat have won the Big Bash League final after a resounding victory over the Sydney Sixers.
A record crowd at the SCG watched the Heat dominate their rivals on Wednesday, with captain Moises Henriques – who played despite having Covid – unable to stop the onslaught.
In the end, the Sixers were nowhere near chasing the Heat’s mammoth first innings total of 166, falling well short.
It is the second time Brisbane has won the competition.
