A construction company that completed projects around Australia is the latest in the industry to collapse and appoint a liquidator.

With projects completed in most states of Australia and 192 employees, National Projects and Maintenance reportedly sent an email to site supervisors in Brisbane on Monday afternoon notifying them the company is shutting down.

The company are responsible for projects in Brisbane, New South Wales, Victoria, the ACT, West and South Australia.

The Courier Mail reports that the company had appointed a liquidator on Monday night.

The company’s recent projects in Queensland include renovations on several schools in the Gold Coast, Brisbane and Lowood, north-west of Ipswich.

The company has also worked on numerous projects in the commercial, retail, government and industrial sectors.

Daily Mail Australia has approached National Projects and Maintenance for comment.
