Footage of the scrap, which was peppered with punches, double-foot kicks and high-pitched human screams of fright and confusion, was obtained by 9News.
It’s believed the two kangaroos had been fighting over territory or a female.
A Central Coast man who goes by “Outback Larry” filmed the two kangaroos on January 10, grabbing and kicking one another at Trial Bay Gaol campground, about 80km north of Port Macquarie.
Larry was up at 6.30am as he was heading out to go fishing.
As the fight wound its way across the quiet campground, the two kangaroos eventually tumbled into a tent, triggering a wave of startled squeals from inside.
