…Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes, had ordered the house arrest of former president Jair Bolsonaro for allegedly violating a Supreme Court censorship order by attending a government protest.

Brazil’s Supreme Court on Monday ordered the house arrest of Jair Bolsonaro, tightening the leash on the former president accused of overseeing a plot to cling to power after losing the 2022 election.

The new measures threatened to escalate the biggest diplomatic crisis in decades between the United States and Brazil, set off by President Trump’s decision to defend Mr. Bolsonaro and slap 50 percent tariffs on some goods from Brazil, Latin America’s largest economy, unless it dropped the case against the former president.

Mr. Bolsonaro, who was ordered last month to wear an ankle monitor while he awaited trial, had already been told to remain at home most hours, stay away from foreign embassies and keep off social media platforms.

In the new ruling on Monday, Alexandre de Moraes, the Supreme Court justice who is overseeing his case, said that Mr. Bolsonaro had violated some of those terms, indirectly using social media through the accounts of his allies and sons.

De Moraes has been on an authoritarian ego trip for a long time, being an ardent believer in using his power to ‘save democracy,’ as most powerful, crazed, dictatorial types are.

He’s long been seen as a multiple and unfettered human rights abuser in pursuit of his enemies, including Elon Musk among them, for providing a platform in which de Moraes finds himself exposed for what he is.





…Proving him right, de Moraes responded by ordering social media platforms to ban that Senator’s accounts and provide detailed information about him.

When X objected, he ordered X to be shut down across the whole country, froze the financial assets of an unrelated company that happens to have the same owner, and threatened anyone who uses X via VPN with serious fines.

There is strong evidence that this behavior is part of a long pattern of abuse for de Moraes.

His unhinged campaign against Bolsonaro, still a popular and populist threat to the ruling, is predicated on destroying the former president for claiming the election was fraudulently rigged. De Moraes claims this amounts to a coup against the sitting government and has been ratcheting up the legal storm against Bolsonaro at every turn on that charge.

Even to the point of sending a demand for his attendance at a hearing to Bolsonaro’s hospital bed this past April.





…to present his preliminary defense within 5 days in the court case in which he’s accused of a state coup and risks 20+ years in prison.

Bolsonaro is recovering from a 12 hour long surgery due to renewed stomach complications due to having been stabbed  in the stomach by a far-left extremist during the 2018 presidential campaign.

Normally, the Supreme Court lets people recover before carrying out procedural acts against people under investigation.

Since de Moraes is out after Bolsonaro, he’s willing to break against the Brazilian Constitution in his efforts to imprison Bolsonaro.

For its sake, the United States under President Trump, a firm friend of Bolsonaro’s, had Rubio revoke his visa in mid-July.

…Brazilian Supreme Federal Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes’s political witch hunt against Jair Bolsonaro created a persecution and censorship complex so sweeping that it not only violates basic rights of Brazilians, but also extends beyond Brazil’s shores to target Americans. 

I have therefore ordered visa revocations for Moraes and his allies on the court, as well as their immediate family members effective immediately.

 And then the US State Department dropped sanctions on the justice for ‘serious human rights abuses’ at the end of last month.





The state department immediately condemned yesterday’s house arrest of the former president.

…Officially, the reasons for the efforts to prevent political candidates from competing in free and open elections are different in each country. In the US, the prosecution of Trump was allegedly due to his mishandling of classified documents, his miscategorization of campaign expenses, and his supposed effort to overturn the 2020 election results. In Brazil, former President Jair Bolsonaro allegedly tried to overthrow the government. In Romania, the effort to prevent Călin Georgescu from competing in the presidential run-off was about the alleged manipulation of TikTok algorithms. In France, the effort to block Marine Le Pen from running for president is supposedly around misusing staff time for political purposes. And in Germany, the effort to ban the Alternative for Germany (AfD) is supposedly because it holds views that are “extremist.”

But behind all of these different reasons are deep state operatives, including ones working for intelligence agencies opposed to the nationalist and populist policies that those candidates support. In the U.S., the evidence is now overwhelming that Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, the CIA, and the FBI worked together to frame Trump as controlled by Russia. In Brazil, there is now a large body of documents showing that the Supreme Court, Election Court, and Federal Police conspired to frame mostly nonviolent protesters as “insurrectionists” in order to frame Bolsonaro as having attempted a coup. In Romania, the evidence of supposed TikTok manipulation all came from European intelligence agencies. And in Germany, the government officials who labeled AfD “extremist” were none other than the nation’s main intelligence agency.

As such, across the Western world, deep state intelligence organizations, the Left-wing political parties that weaponize them, and the mainstream news media organizations that disseminate their disinformation pose a clear and present threat to democracy. These organizations are tied to philanthropic networks, including George Soros’s foundations and various government-funded NGOs. At the heart of their power has been their ostensible legitimacy as independent actors concerned with democracy….





Every time you’re tempted to pull out the old tin foil hat, you have to put it right back away. 

These people are real, they are so deeply evil, and we are so blessed to have evaded four more years of their control.

Bolsonaro’s only hope for survival may be that the United States voted for Donald Trump on November 5th, utterly rejecting the radical liberal ruin looming over all of these countries right now.

That single election may well turn out to be even more consequential than we ever, ever could have imagined.
